AWESOME, great vibe, band was tight!! Steve was great, only song he looked unsure in was Two Dijin but Kenny filled - he was on fire!!

4th row center...closest I've ever been to Bobby & the band. Great show. No other way to put it.

A solid show throughout! Love to see a show at the Pavillion, and the rain held off! Loose Lucy was MY delight, and they really tore into Black Peter and Two Djinn. I'll be seeing them again in a month at Gathering of the Vibes, so it was a great show to whet my whistle!

venue was nice beer and food outrageous have been spoiled with all the general admission shows ,seating was really tight had to step up on the chair to let people by.want to shout out to mark k. miss you brother thinking and praying for you we'll see you soon! the band sounded great steve and keller are awsesome, as usual ratdog kicked it didn't think i was gonna hear any ratdog tunes but was wrong $for gasoline /2djion awesome .killer black peter.not fade brokedown sweet. can't get enough off to the casino. also looking foward to lowell in august.hey bobby thanks for keeping the dream alive! forever grateful

Saw Ratdog at the Orpheum last Fall and this show was night and day. I thought Orpheum was way slow and mellow. This show rocked! Haven't ever hear Keller but he was awesome. Race is On and Friend of the Devil were way upbeat and smokin' dual accoustic w/Keller! Entire show was really upbeat and songs were performed at a faster beat than I remember the Dead's versions during the late 80's and early 90s. Bobby & Ratdog simply rocked out all the tunes and it was a pure joy to see. Great to see him in supurb form. I even liked the Ratdog tunes of which I am unfamilar. Venue was great - first timer - very good sound, beer, staff & food. Looking forward to Lowell & will definitely try to catch 'em when they are nearby

PAVILION WAS A GREAT PLACE FOR A DOG SHOW?HARBOR FOG WAS COOL.KELLER WILLIAMS WAS VERY DIFFRENT ALONE!!BUT WAS GREAT WITH BEING MIXED IN WITH DOG.(QUINN THE ESKIMO).LOOSE LUCY WAS THE BEST VERSION I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!BOBS VOICE WAS VERY STRONG.LOVED BROKEDOWN PALACE,ONE OF THE GOODIES.STEVE WAS A TROOPER. BOBBY TOOK LEAD , SO WHAT IF STEVE LOOKED LIKE MIKE ROWE FROM DIRTY JOBS HE HELD HIS OWN. PARKING LOT REMINDED ME OF THE OLD DAYS!!AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST WE DID NOT SMELL HIM(STENCH)GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!!!!LEFT WITH A BIG(BLURRED VISION) SMILE ON MY FACE?????????GOD BLESS MK!!!

this is easily one of the top dog shows i have seen. ever. every one was on fire, i haven't seen the band like that in a while, and there was something truley magical about this night and this gathering, jerry was in the air last night and it was nuts because my girlfriend caught a picture of the stage and in the picture is nothing but darkness and a black and white jerry garcia. truley out of this world. the scene was great, the brothers and sisters in boston were awesome and provided amazing chemistry between the band and the crowd. the set list was siiick and maybe the best loose lucy i've experienced. this is only the beginning of what is to come of the rest of the summer tour

This was my first time seeing Bobby since the Fat Man died. I was horrified and thrilled at the same time. Many times ovver the night I felt like they pulled a bunch of cheap tricks out of the bag that were awkward and put on, but then they managed to turn it around and win me back. Fundamentally they are such fantastic musicians that theywere able to pull it off. I told me wife (Who's never been to a show before) that I felt like I was watching Kathern Hepburn of Bette Davis acting at teh end of her life. She may be old and decrepit, and the makeup may be layed on pretty thick, but she's such a great actress ttah you're glad to be there to withnewss the performance.
Two other things bothered me. I felt like I was watching a NHL hockey game in LA, where no-one cares about the game, they are there for the event. I don't think a lot of th people there last night understood the interplay of themes. I had a girl next to me ask why the band was playing QTE, didn't some other guy write that? I could have cried. And when it was over, I sat down and waited. and waited. and waited' What do you mean it's over? No it's not, that was just the first set, they'll come back for at least one more and probably two more. Man, I guess I really am getting older. All in all a great night of pure fun and remeniscence.

I have finally turned the corner on this band. After seeing them many times at the Orpheum and at the Casino in Hampton, I always felt that Bobby was just mailing it in- especially when he sung Jerry tunes. Now, I have come to the realization that Jerry is not coming back to sing those tunes-EVER. Bobby has done a great job with his rendition of these tunes and Kenny and the boys really bring a great enrgy to the band.
The only dissapointment was the one set. I think that he feels that the KW set is the first and then Rat Dog is the 2nd. Lame.
Anyway, the playing by was excellent. I really got a kick out of the Dockers that he cut into Capri pants. Now all he needed was the Madonna shirt to go with the pink guitar breakout- complete w/ zebra shoulder strap.

All in all it was a very good show. I haven't seen RatDog/Bob in a few years, so it was great to see high energy and inspired playing. I've seen Bob/Rob a few times in early 90ies, tentative circa '96 Bob finding his way...then a couple of good Dog shows in late 90ies. This was the best.

Aiko was way funky and jamming. Stranger opener was crisp. Loose Lucy - very loose and fun! Black Peter - heartfelt. Dylan tunes - cool. Loser - excellent.

I wasn't crazy about the Dog songs, although liked the energy. Maybe a little picky - Some songs dragged on a bit.

Bob was great. And as he is essential Bob, there're always a few things that can be mildly annoying to some deadheads. I liked Steve, he goes in some places that Jerry has visited.

All other musicians very good, piano was off key on some tunes - no biggie.

Would be nice to see 2 sets, but almost 3 hours of high energy were highly sufficient! It was great to see all the kids there, whatever they know of the history of the BAND or the intricacies of music/dynamics of the groove...main thing they were digging it and having a joyful time!

I've seen many shows from 80-95...was great to feel IT again! and smile, etc, etc.

this was my first time seeing ratdog,and somehow it was just like a dead show all overain. people dancing(including me) and just having a a good time to good music. i was very impressed with bob and the boys,music was tight,and played some of the lost classics IE loser,quinn the eskimo was killer. and you have to be kidding me with broken down palace?? what a set list. i cant wait till they come a round again.

All I have to say is it was an amazing night and I want to thank Kenny for hooking me up and letting me hang out with you guys before and after the show. It was the most amazing experience of my life to watch the show from the stage and to drink a few beers with you after the show. Bob told me a joke that I will never forget and I never remember jokes but its not everyday that Bob Weir tells you one. I hope it can happen again for me but I'm not greedy once is more than enough. Steve Kimock is one of the nicest people I have ever met and so down to earth. Well see you in Bridgeport in August which I'm sure will be equally amazing. Peace

I had forgotten what a pure joy it was to dance to Grateful Dead music. I pretty much quit the scene after Jerry passed on. I just started coming back around last fall, to Ratdog and DSO. Bobby helped me celebrate my 40th birthday at the Orpheum this spring, a show which I loved. I loved this one too. I think the key for me was to just accept the fact that its just not the GD (never will be) and enjoy it for what it is.

I loved all the Dylan, especially the She Belongs to Me. Paul form Stoughton's story about the girl's comment about QTE is funny. Is she kidding? The Dead have ALWAYS played Dylan! *sigh* Some other young guy misidentified the She Belongs To Me as Visions of Johanna on the set list he was compiling. Some of these kids need some proper schoolin', like being locked in a closet with Dylan's first 10 or 12 albums and not allowed back out until they know them all cold. I guess I shouldn't judge, I was fairly ignorant for my first buch of dead shows back in the 80s. Oh well, actually I'm kind of tickled that the scene has carried on in my absence, and that The Shows(tm) are still happening, with a fresh crop of deadheads in attendance. We will survive.

The venue was nice, great view of the harbor and Boston skyline. And the fog was a nice touch, as Bobby says on the RD site. The sound was listenable and danceable in many spots outside the pavilion, and inside the pavilion as long as you were willing to go along with the occasional Clearing Of The Aisles dance with the event staff. Just go with the flow, right? I had a blast. And as usual more than one person came up to me and asked me where they could find doses. I guess I tend to really let go while I'm dancing, but the ironic thing is that I'm clean & sober 15 years. I usually just point to my head and say "I brew my own", or something.

Point is I had a ton of fun. I tend to make a point of it. I and I try my damnedest to share the good vibes with everyone that comes into my sphere of influence. Let's all remember to love eachother. See y'all down the road somewhere! Live well.

I was at the show on the 10th and the 11th; both shows captured the very essence of what made the grateful dead the band of legend, these shows were fantastic, I say this as a musician and a long time fan of the grateful dead since the sixties, it's about the MUSIC after all, regardless of who is playing it, and these shows rivaled any the DEAD concert ever performed, both venues were hasell free and comfortable; small enough to have excellent sound wherever you were in the venue, I took to young musicians who had never heard Ratdog live and they were equally impressed by the performances and improvisational jamming that the band performed, I was also impressed with how Keller William played with the band, I know as a musician it is hard to add a third guitar to the typical lead, rhythm ,bass scenario; this was done to perfection and really added to the orchestration of the music. I am so moved by the performance that I going to see them a few more times on this tour whenever possible, THE SIGN OF A GREAT BAND !!!! the audience keeps coming back for more, oh by the way the two young musicians I went with to the show acknowledged the desire to see the band perfom again.

Mark Karan was missed even though Kimock is a great guitarist
he was a bit shy and really did not come into his own until
after the drum solo..I know the songs are new to him in many
cases but as a musician I could have filled some of those holes
a lot better- maybe cuz I know what Jer would have played..
his absence was of course at times Deafening--yeah the fat man was there in the sky but he was not channeled all the time to the guitar leads....now I am sounding like I did not like it...
totally wrong...I agree you have to accept that there will never be another Jerry and move on with the music...so lets see..
Loose Lucy--a delight...the Race is ON took me back to Radio City with Peter Paul and Mary sitting next to me...ahh what a night that was...0ct. 29, 1980...15 anniversary..
i digress..Keller was way better than I hoped after reading the Georgia reviews I was worried but I really liked the guy if not that his set was a bit long...
Hard Rain's gonna fall....better than I have seen Dylan sing it by far...and just awesome in its own right..
Black Peter-- for me the highlight as my kids were sleepy and almost made me leave...thank god for the reprieve...
Oh yeah the Aiko was really good...Steve played great on first couple of songs then layed back in the cut a bit then did great on Drum solo and then was Awesome in the second part of the Big set...Mighty Quinn (yeah a lot of young heads did not know it)...well I called a couple that nobody knew--the best one--
SILVIO BABY!! OH YEAH! That song is way way underrated and Dylan and Hunter to write one song with JG...I mean I am NOT WORTHY!! Gonna find out something only Dead men know! Whoo whoo! If you listened right you definitely would find it out in Boston on July 10...Bobby Shaman screams on Back Peter put me over the edge but there were at least 4 moments of IT..
whatever IT is....hope I can get to Lowell..wondering if they get some surprise guests for that one.....rumor begun...
