Ive seen alot better shows in the past. samson and sugaree were the highlights for me personaly. Ive seen touch of grey way too many times. As far as the ABB goes, they came out smoking and never let up. Warren tore it up like nobodys business, I wish bobby had done the same.

THIS WAS A KILLER SHOW THE SET LIST SHOWS IT..2 HRS. OF THE DOG.....THIS WAS LIKE OLD TIMES....ABB HAD A HARD TIME FOLLOWING THIS JAM.....BOB WAS DOWN TO WORK THAT NIGHT....MY 47TH SHOW AND WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY.....DOC

Before going to the show, I wondered who would open; Allman Bros or Ratdog. Either could open, either could be the main act.
Both bands were at their best. I'm a huge fan of both. I tended to favor Ratdog in memory because of my decades-long love of the Grateful Dead. I was not disappointed. Ratdog brought back fond memories of concerts past and kept the crowd dancing and playing just like the old days. Like the Dead shows, Ratdog shows are as much parties as they are concerts. Best crowds on the planet, too.
My only regret is I left my one-of-a-kind Deadhead hat at home. I made it 2 years ago, never worn. Coulda made some beer money. Still, that was no rain on my parade. Great time, Great band.

At a Siding> Terrapin flyer really blew me away. Great set...great overall show! A+ 9/10

Its a dissappointment the lead singer of the grateful dead has to open for the allman brothers.
The allmans fans are drunk red necks and ruined the show for the dead heads. Ratdog needs to be with another band that arent over payed junkies such as the allman brothers. They played midnite rider everyt single night come on.

What a great night, this was the show that brought me home from a long strange summer. Good to see the non touring friends and family that made it out for a hometown show. First half of the ratdog show as solid. I was a little under the weather trying to get into a groove. nothin spectaculur but solid. It was around jack a roe i think the show and my L shifted gears. man what a strange mississippi half step, the rest of the show kept pace and to me turned into an amazing ratdog show. That seemed to be the general consenus with a lot of folk around me. This was my first at a siding>terrapin flyer. my first time hearing it was no let down. Gettin a little tired of touch of grey but whatever I'll take it afterf what came before and i suppose it's kind of a jerry anthem for Bobby and all the vets and a song the custys can nod their head to. Allmans didnt deliver the powerhouse show their capable of, i think it might be the fact that they rocked so hard the sat night b4 in Pa. All in all thank you, ratdog, for a real strange summer. Keep spreadin the love

came to the show a day earlier... camped out sat-sun at darien lake state park... met more allman bros fans than i expected... great people and all for the jam... got there a little late... found my seat during maggies'... when they hit loose lucy... i knew they were going to play samson and sugaree... when they hit dark star... i thought i was the luckiest fan there... siding/flyer was the first for me and it just blew me away ...

Great show boby has realy kicked up the guitar playing and Steve was amazing in The Loser and the highlight of the show for me was Surgaree. Boby's little misstake in Touch Of Grey was perfect.

The boys sounded great except for kimmock. Nothin against ratdiggity but they need MK back kimmock makes the shows boring. I hit the last six shows and i've been impressed with everyone except kimmock. What's wrong with this guy he's just so boring.

I have been to 2 ratdogs shows and both were par at best. Phil Lesh and friends is much better!! I like how Bob forgot a line in Touch of Grey...The Allmans rocked. Two words for all Ratdog fans....DEREK TRUCKS!! Best guitarist out there today.

Smokin mix of blues & grooves. The lot scene was oh so very young. There were kids actually playing PONG with tables & all!! Where have the years gone? We have morphed into a VERY diversified culture. Lets hope some of them eventually get a CLUE & a JOB!!!

Great vibes, felt like the old Dead shows. Loved Samson and Jack-A-Roe.

This was my 10th RD show the past year and I tend to prefer the out door venues. Just has a better feel and that says a lot to anyone that has been to the Town Ballroom shows in Buffalo.

Great show all in all but the band really misses MK. Hope and prayers with him and his family. Get well first and we will see you at a show later on.

Hope to see RD be a headline next year. They easily could have played a second set. The crowd was ready but there just wasn't enough time as an opening band.

Can't wait to see the fall tour schedule and hope it's loaded with east cost gig's again!!

Till next time......peace to all and be safe!!

I was very excited to hear my favorite band play with a new guitarist. Even though I do LOVE Mark. God bless him!! Steve Kimock was great as always!! The band sounded very tight and happy!! Great versions of Samson and the At a Siding(Terrapin) never sounded better. The Allmans did sound better then I expected! I was happy and toasted for a nice Sunday under the stars. Oh yeah, the disc's sound fantastic!!! Grab some for yourself!

RatDog set was prime. The Loser was very good, and they absolutely nailed Loose Lucy. Mississippi Half Step, Sugaree, Dark Star reprise, and At A Siding>Terrapin Flyer were all played extremely well, and you could see that the band was enjoying themselves. Even the Touch encore, which I'm usually not a fan of, was good and you could tell that the band was thinking of Mark Karan.

Allmans set was good, with a Mountain Jam with Kimock and Jay that was incredible.

Awesome show from start to finish! The ABB was a let down after bobby and the boys left stage. Need my RatDog to be the headliner. All in all, great set list, great crowd and great venue! Samson was outta this world! Lucy, sugaree, mississippi, jack a roe, absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Saw 6 or 7 shows on this tour and this was easily my worst experience. Traffic jam on thruway while already running late, ridiculously small entryway into the venue which cost us 45 minutes of the Ratdog set,a fist fight in that line which was really no line but a sloppy mass of ABB drunken rednecks and drug crazed hippy wannabees, and upon our eventual entrance to the show a cloud of dust enough to aggravate anybody's allergies or contact lenses due to more dirt on the lawn than grass. Had to stand so far back that the music sounded like a far off record. I suppose the band played just fine though, and was disappointed to have missed the all too rare Here Comes Sunshine opener.
Well, like smart people say a bad Ratdog show is better than a good anybody else show. All in all a very enjoyable summer with some wonderful music that took me from coast to coast, afforded me some wonderful time with my sons and an Uncle in L.A., and left many with eager anticipation of Ratdog in the future. Thanks guys. Thoughts and prayers with MK. Make a speedy recovery man.

Thanks,
Fred S.

I see Ratdog about 5 times the past few years and this was the best vocal performance by Bob that I can recall. You can really start to hear it in Money for Gasoline. Loose Lucy Bob gets crazy deep and then Samson makes it clear he was there to belt it out. I like Steve Kimock but he just does not cut it for me. Both Steve and Mark Karen played with the Other Ones back in 1998 and it was clear then that Mark was the guy. God Bless Mark, we pray for you good health and quick return. FLORIDA RUN IN 73 DAYS. See you at St Pete, Jacksonville, Orlando & Boca if you can make the trip!

Great day all round. RD was good, first time seeing them. Saw the Dead in Hamilton twice. A huge ABB fan have seen them 14 times and always enjoyed the shows and the people. Some of the reviews mentioned drunk rednecks, sorry you feel that way. Thought it was great to see both of them play on the same night.

My husband and I have been to many Ratdog shows and we are never disappointed, clearly the best Sugaree we have heard. We always leave with a copy of the live show and our 7 hour drive home to Chazy the next morning was sweet reliving the performance from the night before. Looking forward to our next two shows in Burlington, VT and Albany, NY. As always we are grateful for the memories.

I thought the RD show was awesome. RD sounded better at Cmac last year and also played a better setlist, also they were the headliner which would have been better then ABB. Overall ABB was good, and it was good to see Warren play, but RD always plays a better show. The security line was ridiculous trying to get in and cost me precious time of RD, and not to mention that my L was kicking in full and every one yellin IM PEAKING LET US IN THE SHOW wasn't helping. But overall one of my favorite shows. Also RD is a better show then Phil Lesh any day.

Kurt G., Fairport, NY
fIRST oFF RatDog or RD was intense man, terraptin, touch of grey woooooow. any ways ill be seein a lot more of those people on shakedown next year. o yeah allmanbrothers truely insane.

riles, brock the port
ABB Conncert? I think most people were there for Bob weir and rat dog and they were INTENSE. The touch of grey closer was so awsome. Im 16 so therfore to young to have seen dead but im glad bob and phil lesh and friends made the dead live on...........And you are truly "better off dead"

Help! Jerry's Kids , East Aurora
To the jerk-off at the top. Why do people always want to compare Phil and Bobby. Ive seen them both, they are different bands with the same great usic and great atmosphere. Phil is cool but he needs way more help than Bobby does.. To say ratdog sucks is just ignorant.

this show kicked ass and yeah ABB fans were all drunk red necks. terrapin station was absolutley out of body
