great show Bob and the band never let up. They looked like they were having fun tonight .

inspired playing, a band having a great time, but a strange and uneven second setlist that was doomed to fail. playin wang dang playin drums a misplaced big railroad that was a small choo choo in the big wild world of the second set, a snoooozy peter, and as warner wolf would say, you could turn your sets off there. Needed something better in that set, maybe a chinarider, an eyes, something to raise it up. westbury promises some great tunes, maybe that elusive Stephen, but something hopefully more interesting than this snorefest.

Could've been a really good show but I found the sound issues (PA buzzing and feedback) to be really distracting.

The sound was horrible, the buzzing was constant and annoying as hell, my ears were still buzzing after the show. Setlist was a little boring.

I think Bill M was at a different show than we were.

I agree the sound issues were annoying all night - buzzing and feedback really bad - Otherwise always great to see Bob and hear the music

I'm pretty sure the buzzing sound was caused by Bobby's Fender. Every time he picked it up and got close to his mic, we got the wrong type of buzz! The feedback in the 2nd set hurt my ears!

On a positive note, I enjoyed Don't let go, and haven't seen a Wang Dang in a while.

definitely the guitar. I couldn't believe no one fixed that all night.

First set was too quiet, highlight was Jeff solo on Sugaree. Good song selection but mellow. Second set was definitely better. I would guess any audio tapers tried to get off this show was ruined by the dude that clapped incredibly loudly through just about the whole show, often during Kimock's solos... Was hoping for a Throwin Stones... not sure if I would see Ratdog again after this.

I really enjoyed the show last night.....From the opener straight through to the end, I thought Bobbys voice was spot on. I could actually hear the words. Some good animation by Bobby also. I love when he makes those hand gestures when he f-ups the words!! BUT, I gotta tell you, how could the tech's not have heard the continuous buzzing and feed back ALL NIGHT LONG!!(Wang-Dang-Doodle reference) It really effected the entire vibe of the show, at least if you were up front/ right side. I'm with the previous poster who mentioned, song selection and placement. You will never, and I mean never ever, never ever? Never Ever!! Hear....Playin'>WDD>Playin' again in your lifetime. WOW!!!??? Black Peter is a sleeper, always been. But last night they actually slowed it down to a grinding halt....I started to fall asleep on the dude next to me's shoulder. And then into Sugar Mag??.....I actually shook my head to wake up and try to at least move my body, dancing at this time was fruitless!

Overall, I had a blast! "$ for gasoline"...love that f-ing song! "Don't let go".....which I heard on the drive in on the GD channel on XM! Awesome."Bombs Away"...love solo Bobby stuff. You make the show!! Feel the music enter your mind and body and tune out the a-hole on his blackberry talking to his buddy in the middle of a smokin Bobby and Steve guitar jam!!

See you all at "The Cap" next week, meet me in the Jerry Lounge

I was hoping for a mood lifter from all the bad weather weve been having...was really looking forward to the show, but sadly disappointed.
The sound was sooooo BAD, the feedback and loud buzzing ruined it. The set list was a total downer, I was waiting for nooses to come down out of the ceiling and the floor to drop out. We actually left during wang dang. Been going to show since 1975 and never ever thought I'd have to leave one early. I hope the guys were just having an isolated bad night. :( Still love ya Bobby!

I had an awesome time last night. Danced the night away with my hubby and enjoyed every minute. You are not going to love every song, but overall the set list didn't disappoint. Awesome theater and fun crowd.

Bob in great voice and guitar.. I thought the band was spot on.
Only bad stuff was the lighting and sound!
How could his techs not know the Fender for having a grounding issue.
Stage hand stuff 101.
Come on Bob.. get you show together..

Great show, great time, great venue, my only complaint is the complainers

Man, I don't know where the negative reviews are all about ... been seeing Bobby and the Dead since 72', Thought the band would be a step down
from Further .... No way !!! Ratdog hit it just right ... the bussing of the sound was annoying ... but certainly didn't ruin the show. Me and my veteran show going buddy both agreed that we haven't seen Bobby play that in years, thought he was great, jumping around on stage during S Mags reminded us of the "old days" Good job Ratdog; can't wait to them again ... A "Hard Rains"
was perfect and Bobby sang it with pure passion, Thanks Ratdog, Peace !

I know I felt bad about complaining... although I personally like a more upbeat set, I have been to many mellow shows... I do think the band is great! I just spent a whole bunch of $ and drove hours to be next to some truly inconsiderate people... which was a total drag... but it is what it is and yes the a hard rains was worth it!! :)

any musician knows its hard to remember all the cords, words etc.. Bobby amazes how he still trucking along from show to show. Overall great night with plenty of fun and dancing.. warming up for dead reunion in 15!
