Re: Rest in Peace PaTom
It's taken me a day to even come here to read this. Tom was a great friend and one of the nicest guys out there. Playing in a Original/ Dead band as a kid in NEPA, Tom was there at almost every single show. Soo many great times. That "Trip" to Brownies to see Splintered for the first .org meet up, a...

Re: post videos of you playing
Cool man ! I need to reel my Cajon drummer in from the cosmos so we can record a version of Althea too. My version is sloppier. I try to play classical type stuff as clean as I can. I do 'songs' in an amateurish drunken BBQ style  I'm noticing that when I play a steel string for a while,it's e...

Thanks a lot man. I love that guitar. It truly has gotten a better sound over the last few years. It's a Martin DC-16GTE model.teledan wrote:Nice job, VW.
And, my oh my, that guitar does have a rich strong tone.

Re: post videos of you playing
I hate recording , I like to make record of songs in time, and I enjoy multitracking and stuff, but as soon as I hit record I become more of a perfectionist than I am or even want to be, and am never satisfied. yep. for a lot of my videos on here i got tired of trying to record the same thing ...

Re: post videos of you playing
yeah. recording is hard as hell. LOL I love to play Althea. I play it a lot with my Cajon drummer while my girlfriend works on dinner. Yea it's really tough to nail everything. I'd like to try and set up in my band room through my boomerang and a PA system and record that way. I can throw some lead...

Love this tune. First song I sang to Hunter when we got him home from the Hospital, and one of the first songs my Uncle taught me when I was a kid on the guitar.

Re: Question for those with a Junction Box...
Thanks guys! I don't think it was plugged in backwards. It seemed like it only occurred when I put on my new Hartman Envelope Filter. I love that thing, but the Highs are like ear piercing. I have to find a way to create a volume control on that thing without taking my guitar volume down and losing...
