Re: Nick Mason U.S. 2022

If you like the Pink Floyd from before Dark Side of the Moon, then you really need to do yourself a favor and see this band. They put on a great performance and they enjoy the hell out of what they are doing. Their shows are static. They don't change the setlist up really at all, and even the commen...

that's a horrible story. I assume this is not a real gun that can be loaded. It's described as a "prop" gun but i guess we will find out more as time goes on.

Re: Do you hate the Grateful Dead?

i don't hate them but i think the idea of them taking a DSO setlist and replaying it has run it's course. I mean EVERY DSO tribute band does the same thing now.

Re: RIP Betty Lynn aka Thelma Lou

i still will watch an occasional Andy Griffith. It's one of the few tv shows i do watch.

I think that leaves just Ron Howard and the woman who played Ellie Walker as the only cast members from the B&Ws that are still with us.

Re: Did you used to watch Mork and Mindy?

Re: Did you used to watch Mork and Mindy?

I saw this this morning. Absolutely brilliant. Not only is his voice identical but he has Williams mannerisms and facial movements down. If my monitor was broke i would have sworn this was Robin.

If they ever make a movie of Robin this guy has to do it.

Re: Neil Young - Carnegie 1970

i just ordered "Young Shakespeare". Looking forward to hearing it. btw/ somewhat related ... like i said "i've been on a CSN kick lately" and i picked up "Live it Up" by CSN this weekend. What a piece of crap this album is. From the sophmoric album cover to the empty, old hippies playing 80s influen...

Re: Neil Young - Carnegie 1970

Love it, I just can't wait to upgrade my system to actually get the most out of the FLAC files (which you get free if you buy cd/LP from Neils site). You probably know and have them already but if you dig this solo acoustic stuff like me, he has 3 other solo releases that are all within 2 months of...

Neil Young - Carnegie 1970

Disk just arrived in the mail today. Only through Disk 1 and i love it.

The acoustic solo stuff on Live Rust was the seed that planted my love for acoustic music. It's nice to hear more classic Neil Young solo acoustic after all these years.
