Re: Booster Covid shot

I think you probably nailed it Jack. There wasn’t the liberty of any extra time back last winter to do anything but approach all of the vaccines as a single path. With the extra time during these last few months they are actually seeing an advantage in mixing the different vaccines and chemistries A...

Re: Last show before surgery

Kinda sucks going thru the surgery but here’s thinking it will be totally worth it!

Having done a femur, ankle, knee 3X plus numerous other broken stuff I can only encourage you to stick with the PT and exercises after. Pays giant dividends in the end!

Enjoy the gig!

Re: Red Rocks, CO 10-19-21

Looking forward to hearing the Drums> as well. On 12/26/69 Weir and Garcia mention that Billy was late flying in to Dallas so they played that amazing acoustic set to give him time to get there. Second set electric ain’t shabby either - they’re calling for Phil to come out and Weir says “last I saw ...

Re: Feat Waiting for Columbus 2022

I think the core of this band has been together since like the 80s

After not seeing them for quite awhile, we saw them at a free show in Woodstock, Georgia a few years ago and they were really good. Told some great stories between tunes about hanging in Atlanta during the early days

Re: Feat Waiting for Columbus 2022

I’ll consider this a must do show. As mentioned above, I agree it’s one of the best live albums ever released and it still gets regular play in my house

The cyclops backdrop from Englishtown!

He told me I ran the entire gam out of the medicines they could give me. There wasn’t any thing left besides oxygen. As the...

The Dollar Cost of Covid

So I’m looking at an itemized hospital bill from my adventures with Covid back in March which came today. It’s a partial with not a Doctor charge on it. No pulmonary group charges (the majority of the care), ambulances, miscellaneous stuff - straight hospital. A couple interesting ones: Pharmacy - $...

Re: Seven Hills of Gold

I remember hearing that Hunter had a loose concept for the Seven Hills of Gold, and that he envisioned multiple songs that told the story. Weir and Lesh commented on the origins of the song: The renewed collaboration [with Hunter] began in April [2010], when Hunter ... sent a stack of about a dozen ...
