Hi Doggies,

Gobble gobble. Just a quick check in to see how everybody is doing. Been a spell since I last logged in and have been active on .org. Having our 3rd child (3 under 4 years old ) has kept me quite busy.

Anyway just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving and I hope all is well and good this holiday season.

Avery has been doing well. Loves her school class. Medically, her condition is stable but its still wait and see if it progresses, which means tests every other month. But she's made a nice rebound overall from her stroke this past spring.

Thanks for the continued vibes folks. Avery had a good drs. appointment last week. Things are stable with her condition and her cardiologist plans to present her case at a big conference in March with all the national big heads. Hoping for more than just second opinions from that.

I hope everyone is doing well this new year. Chicago seems to be on everyone's mind. I hope they at least web cast it for those of us who probably can't make it out there.

Thanks you Graceful et al. Amazing to think Avery and this thread in now 4+ years old. I like to think of it as a forum for anyone who wants to share struggles and triumphs, health-related or otherwise. Avery is still rocking school, loves mickey mouse, elmo, and a host of other characters. She remains non-verbal but has her own way of communicating and its (mostly) happiness.

Wish there was a way to get to RambleonRose fest to meet everybody. Tall order these days with 3 tikes, all under 5 years old. But we gotta fire up the minivan sometime....right?

Hi orgers. Everyone recovered from FTW shows. I did SC with my brother and mother. Great times and ran into a few casual orgers there. Thank you for the continued vibes everyone, we always appreciate it.

Avery had a big quarterly appt (echocardiogram and ekg) and it went pretty well; her condition (pvs) is stable with slightly elevated venous pressures indicating it could be progressing negatively. It's like some cancers in that you can't predict how fast or strong it will progress. For now, it seems slow and relatively stable. So I'll take the glass half full view and thank the lord Avery is happy and active.

Anyway, just an update. I can't believe this thread is still sticky'd, but we certainly appreciate it all that you have shown and supported over the years. Thank you!
