They'll never let Manson out, but aren't they slowly letting the girls out?

Still remember the morning I woke to find the work this human busied himself with. Changed a whole country and it's will with a finger. Sent the family of his victim into mourning.
Glad the Death penalty was stopped. Jail for life more than fair as we have no other way to isolate people like this. Don't see them releasing him but weirder stuff going on these days.
He chose his hero's path let him walk it to the end.
Have no problem at all with his creator offering forgiveness and a place in heaven. Being human. I'm not as forgiving. My Bad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reading Kennedy's son's feelings that Sirhan should go free and their exchange. Along with questions about Sirhans solo involvement (wouldn't be a Kennedy assassination without theories). I'm climbing off my high horse and have no problem, with whatever the outcome may be.....

Charlie is dead
None of the girls have ever been released (some have died) though they have come up for parole several times

I've always followed politics.

It was at the end of the school year of 4th grade.
I knew the CA primary results would be coming in too late
for me to watch. So I saw the news first thing next morning.
I asked my mother to let me take our black and white portable tv
to school and she agreed. My teacher Mrs. Sargent (I swear)
let me set it up and the class watched the news coverage.
That always amazed me because she was very strict,
but everyone's world had just changed.
Hope had been snuffed out by senseless violence.

Senseless violence. I have never comprehended it.
Guns either. They kill. Who needs that?

I just saw on the news that two of RFK's sons are in favor
of parole. At some point we have to turn the other cheek.

Rest In Peace Bobby...

What a freakin mess. It'll never be really solved. Seems based on the successful assassinations this comes from souls intent to curb representative government. Two presidents who were the target of assassination and lived, it was pretty clear who did it and their mental state. Kind of odd the successful murders happened in ways that tax imagination. They took some special knowledge of the targets paths and where they were vulnerable. Nothing like typical murders of popular souls. We live in the times these well placed bullits created. No one could really do anything about legal issues and those who could, seemed to accept the rules of the game. Something those playing their side of the board never bothered with. To this day.

I didn't know he was still alive and am a bit surprised they released him.

Not sure I would have made that decision, but I can't say at this stage I find it terribly upsetting.

The Mafia was betrayed by the Kennedy family and they had a particular hatred for RFK. There is a very good chance the Mob was involved in both assassinations.

Anything is possible but I have never seen evidence that I would consider convincing. A whole lot of speculation that sounds like it could have some validity, but nothing factual enough to really believe.

Folks love conspriacies.

As to releasing him, if he had killed some random dude, and not RFK he probably would of been released 20 years ago.

off topic a bit, but the RFK doc on netflix is really good. Not sure if it is still on there, but if it is and you haven't seen, it is a great watch.

The movie about the day he was killed is also good to very good.

Summer of 1968. I had just graduated from grade school and was fixing to start high school. I was following the campaign closely.

Sad day to be sure. What could have been. I’m not sure what to make of the killing. It’s some shady shit for sure. What I like about the drama movie is it follows 10-15 different peoples day at the hotel starting from guys getting to work up to the actual shooting. A great premise. Couple younger guys dose. It’s really well done. The documentary is one of the best I’ve seen. The coverage of his Mississippi delta trip is heartbreaking, but the film maker shows it as a pivotal point in his life. I really can’t say enough about both films
