A pretty killer set of original music, with many teases and Easter eggs tossed in, a great example of what this band is out there doing and why you should try and see them if you get the chance. They are playing a show at the Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on Halloween with Club d'Elf on the bill as the Neighbor 9 with horn section and backing vocals that shouldn't be missed if you are in the area.

Southern California folks,Neighbor is playing LA and San Diego for the first time out of the Northeast this Thursday and Friday if you want to check them out. You can't find a better live music value than catching these guys for $15!!

Is this someone's kid's band? I checked some stuff out on youtube. I dont understand the connection?

This is a music board...

I left off kimock & Dylan for having played with ratdog or GD but on the front page of the main forum we have the following music threads today:

max creek, joni, moe. Billy stings. Led zeppelin. Deep purple, van Morrison, Bonnie Raitt, Jackie greene

Not too mention the obscure threads like...no but I stayed at a holiday Inn last nite

Neighbor is a good up & coming (will be 3 years this Jan) jam band from the Boston area that mainly plays original music (which is refreshing) with an occasional cover in the mix...some of the members are from Berkeley school of music in Boston

I have seen them a few times in MA & NH and enjoy them every time I see them

I think the OP was just letting folks know they were playing on the left coast for the 1st time

I don't see any harm in mentioning bands on this board

Ha, you asked who is Neighbor and that is kind of the point of the whole thread. Just a good and fun band with some crazy talent that may be around for a few years. Their guitarist Lyle Brewer is one of the best you will ever hear and plays with a lyricism and beauty and feel that not many others in this world can and he has sat in with Kimock and Chimenti before, both of Ratdog, so there is a six degrees of separation there. I just figure since we can't see Ratdog anymore that maybe some folks are on the lookout for some new bands to check out and support and Neighbor checks all the boxes for me.
