This was a pretty amazing show. A pair of new original debuts, a great magic trick and a 4 man talk box jam. Neighbor is hot right now and growing by leaps and bounds. Best bang for your rock and roll dollar, if you see them coming around you should certainly consider getting out to see them. DC and Philly are coming up next!

Haha, if Rob Derhak wasn't so much bigger than Dan Kelly I may have never even noticed, as it was so sneakily done! Absolutely not a single beat missed. And the opening tune Back in Maine was an instant classic debut original to my ears. The band is starting to pile up the victories, as show after show lately is well crafted and and executed with aplomb.

It is an amazing place to be! That was a few hours of some living, fire-breathing music thrown at the old State Saturday night! I always feel incredibly fortunate for having this band, their growing catalog and the directions that they can take it all in and never playing a a tune the same way.. Builds the excitement for each show in the exact way I used to feel at Dead shows as a pup. And to get that experience for a twenty dollar bill feels almost criminal!
