Stones Hollywood FL 11/23

Post by Buck » Thu Oct 14, 2021 9:49 am

Legendary rockers The Rolling Stones will close out their successful and critically acclaimed “No Filter” tour at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 8 p.m. The show at Hard Rock Live will be The Rolling Stones’ most intimate show in more than a decade.
Tickets go on sale this Monday, October 18 at 10am ET.

The “No Filter” tour marks the rock ‘n’ roll legends’ first time reuniting following last year’s postponement. The band is midway through making 14 stops across the United States. The series of dates follows a massively successful and record-breaking first leg in 2019.

AEG Presents’ Concerts West is the promoter of The Rolling Stones “No Filter” 2021 North American tour.

Oh lord! Tickets will be impossible! Brand new venue too.
The Seminoles have been splurging bringing down the big acts to this tiny venue.
They just had GnR and Metallica.

Ugh. I’m glad I have not sprung for a Pit ticket yet for Vegas. This is gonna cost me some dollars. Looks like Thanksgiving will be celebrated in South Florida!

I doubt it. Venue capacity is only 7,000. There isn’t a bad seat in the house.
Lucky Dips are mainly for big stadium shows.

I got into the Stones shows at the Beacon for $500 each night. And it wasn’t easy. This is gonna be a challenge.

Oh man. 7000 for a Stones show would be great. Might even get to hear some rarely played songs.

I saw the Stones on 10/26/81 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. 4665 capacity. Saw two GD shows there as well (should have been three, but...long story). Tickets for the 1981 Stones show went onsale at midnight the box office and at a single record store. It was announced at 8:00 p.m., just four hours prior, and the band was deemed to be "once known as the Cockroaches" (the alias the Stones had used to play the Fox in 1978). My roommate in Athens heard about, and we got in the car and drove to the store. Waited about two hours, got our tickets and saw the Stone at the Fox!

Great bands in intimate venues are a true joy!

We saw the Stones at the Vredenburg Theater in Utrecht, Holland in 2003. I paid $1000 for a ticket before I left New York. My friend and I camped out on line all night and he scored one at the box office for $50. They played a deep cut set list. It was the best concert I ever saw. Place held 1200 people.

TM. 10am Monday morning. I will be trying for a single. I allow myself one big splurge per Stones tour. This will be the show. I will pay the $1000 to sit up front. I saw the Stones at the Joint at the Vegas Hard Rock in 2003. I paid $750 for a 10th row center seat on the aisle. I had all 3 Charlie’s Angels and Kiefer Sutherland sitting directly in front of me. Cameron Diaz danced with me during Midnight Rambler. I met Bruce Willis who was there with 3 hot women. And Marlon Brando, who passed away a few months after the show. It was an awesome night. I expect this show to be worth the splurge as well.

I assume a single ticket will be easier than a pair. I need a pair for this one. Not expecting to score, but I’ll be in the Ticketmaster “que” at 9:50 am on Monday.
Also,,,from the looks of the seating chart for this show, the Pit is going to be a good size. I wonder if those will be $1000.

I had a minor thrill when I was able to select seats. But none were actually available.

Although I didn't try the $3k - $5K seats.

edit - Just tried one. I can actually get a $4,000 seat. I'm not going to.
