Will be using my new amp for first time live.

Image

One Control BJS-66

Replaces my Twin Reverb head. No more worries about tubes and the weight. I have this amp running thru two JBL E-120 speakers in a custom cab (below the amp in the picture). Whats cool is that new amp weighs 3.6lbs !

Glad Im getting in one more show before this surgery, been kinda depressed about shoulder issues. Been 2 years of this shoulder being fucked up, finally tho itll be fixed and then its just patience.

Kinda sucks going thru the surgery but here’s thinking it will be totally worth it!

Having done a femur, ankle, knee 3X plus numerous other broken stuff I can only encourage you to stick with the PT and exercises after. Pays giant dividends in the end!

Enjoy the gig!

^ thats the plan. Im gonna pack up most of my guitar gear so its not right in my face all day, everyday lol. That'll help. Ive been playing as much as I can recently, but once this surgery happens I am taking it easy on this shoulder and listening to the doctors. Hoping by next Mar or April to be able to get back to performing. Every time the shoulder begins to feel better, it pops back out of socket and its like a domino effect. Now it wont go back in right away when it does happen, which is just about as much fun as watching the grass grow (and no not the fun grass either). As long as it doesnt pop out or lockup on Sat ill be good to go. Then next on the list is lower back surgery lol. The fun never ends !

also sending healing vibes your way... a lot of healing efforts takes place in the mind and you already are ahead by preparing for your recovery and patience. lots of folks expect surgery to do all the hard work but surgery is just the beginning. You got this!

Healing vibes for you, I had reconstructive surgery on my shoulder a few years ago, I am so grateful I did that, I still have to do PT but on a much lighter schedule!! Like Dad said keep up with the PT, it is amazing for the healing !!

Well I managed to mess it up yesterday, all I did was lift my arm the wrong way and out of the socket it went. I tried for 12 hours to get it to pop back in, but It wouldnt pop back. Hurt like a mofo. Had help to get it back in and now its really f**ked. Already had blood in the joint before and it looks like I did it again. I may have to have surgery even sooner. We shall see, monday Ill know more.

Def not rushing this after surgery, im doing PT and doing everything they tell me. I want to be ready to tour again next year. I have not toured in 4 years or so. Just shows here and there. Hopefully things all fall into place and it all works out ;-)

My surgery was moved due to finding bone spurs in my elbow as well.

So Dec 3rd is elbow surgery and Dec 22nd is Shoulder.

Heres MRI of my shoulder. If any of ya know what to look for you'll see why it dislocates every time I lift my arm. A lot of work to be done. Anywhoo thought id keep yall updated.
