Clinton Inaugural Ball probably wins for me. A ballroom in the DC Convention Center wasn't all that irregular as a venue, but the occasion was quite unique.

The tent at the bottom of the ski slope in Waterville Valley, NH probably takes it as an odd venue.

The ballroom at the Renaissance hotel in DC for the Leahy fundraiser is another odd situation.

We have a ruling from the judges: this interpretation "counts" too!

How did you happen to score that?
Btw, did you see Fleetwood Mac there too?

Not becuz of the physical venue itself per se but with Ratdog at Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon NH in fall 07

It was a Sunday & Pre show tons of balloons bring sold on front steps of city hall...people driving by getting 4 or 5 & driving around block

1 cop, all Barney Fife like blocks not wanting to come anywhere this crowd

So only pub in town meet other concert goers & ask if sell alcohol inside...they were like oh no just apple cider & brownies all PTO like lol

Sure enough that IS all that was being sold inside...and yes like PTO or snacks after blood drive or at voting polls lol

But could get hand stamped & go out to pub across the common or back to your car...those were the days...

Concert ends...back to pub to watch sox close out world series v rockies

Snag a job pavilion in Glen Allen, VA. Name should be irregular enough to qualify. Venue set up inside of an office park with a stage that looked like it was inside of a storage shed.

basically just a small college gym. general admission show and they had the bleachers pulled in so there was no place to sit all night except on the wood floor. probably less than a 1000 people there as well but still had fun. \:D/

The Mishawaka Amphitheater outside Denver. We had kayakers pass in front of the stage a number of times during the show. Music Mountain in South Fallsburgh, NY was pretty strange too. Standing on the side of a mountain in a monsoon under a parachute with about 100 other heads.

Did you see Phil there in 2007?

It was only a couple months after Ratdog the same year with Kimock:
