Caught Jeff opening up for the Starship 8/26/76 at Nassau Coliseum. When we got to our seats about 35 rows back, they had situated the soundboard there. The usher then moved us up to 13th row center!
Jeff put on a such a great show that I bought tickets for the Palladium a few months later, but unfortunately lost them
RIP Jeff

The only time I saw Jeff Beck was when he played at MSG with Clapton about 8 years ago. Sadly, I found the show disappointing, especially compared to the Winwood/Clapton and Cream shows which were outstanding. I think Beck was very much a musicians musician.

RIP
I caught him at once at one of those msg shows with Clapton which was actually almost 12 years ago now, Feb 2010. Maybe not up to par with the Clapton/Winwood show (I missed Cream) but I thought he was great and was very impressed with his bass player who looked like a 14 year old girl or something (I know she wasn't).

His lady bass player was Aussie gal Tal Wakenfield and she was very talented. The last time I saw him, she wasn't there, it was a different gal on bass.
We will understand it better bye and bye.

I was very surprised and saddened to hear the news
Jeff Beck will certainly be forever missed and forever remembered.
One of a kind in my book
Somewhat interestingly enough I have been listening to Blow By Blow and Wired quite a bit over the past few months too. Two albums I have always felt were ahead of their time.
