Re: Tom Constanten Farewell Tour
I saw these guys on 4/20. It was a really nice show. I think i enjoyed the Allman covers more than the GD ones.
It took me awhile before i realized TC was in the band. He's always been thin but he is very thin now. He looked eerie. Almost like a specter villain from scooby doo playing on skeleton keys. If i remember correctly he did a really cool solo intro to the 2nd set that was mountains/dark star. it was a nice surprise seeing him in the band.

Re: Tom Constanten Farewell Tour
This was fantastic. MK can rip the ABB stuff and sing the blues . I spoke to him after the show about his cancer recovery .
Les Dudek is a monster on guitar. GREAT slide player .
Oakley is great .
Lavezzoli plays and sings great.
Gubberman also fantastic playing and singing.

I'm a big fan of his.

MK has said that he viewed cancer as a teacher . I thought that was a cool evolved take on the subject .caseyjonesed wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 6:08 amwhat did MK say about his recovery?Rutil8ed wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2024 5:08 amThis was fantastic. He was really hard at work gathering cables and gear so I didn't want to be in his hair too much . I have what I call an energy upload list literally written on a piece of paper . MK is one of the folks who made it all the way off the list and fully recovered . When that happens , it gives me a huge buzz . We spoke briefly about energy healing . I mentioned Carolyn Myss who had a strong influence on my spiritual practice and MK had definitely heard of her .
