Yea I just ran through it and it sounds great, love it. If I had to choose I'd put it above Rattle That Lock but not On An Island. Not complaining but the 2 instrumentals really had me hoping for more, 2 of his shortest though short and sweet. At least we got that Barn Jam!

I forgot where but on a video this year Gilmour and Polly were talking about Luck and Strange and how it came about in the On An Island days during a barn jam but never came to fruition for that or even Rattle That Lock until it finally found a home here. They may or may not have also talked about this song (maybe not by name) on the deluxe Rattle That Lock dvd, if my memory does or doesn't serve me well.

That's cool for those close though I'm sure it wont be an easy lottery still. Sept 20th is when I'll start avoiding all Gilmour threads to try to keep the suspense and not see anything he's likely to play... I have an idea but better not to see. The hardest part sometimes is right before the show if someone near you is talking about the setlist, even not wanting to know anything it's hard to block it out. I've plugged my ears or even pushed that lower part of my ear back and fourth so it distorts any sounds I'm hearing lol.

I’m loving the new album. Especially the vocals from Romany Gilmour. This should be an amazing tour.

i'll take that setlist. A little surprised no Barrett or Wright songs in the list. "Coming back to Life" is on it so I'll be happy. also nothing from his first 3 solo albums.

edit - oops a great gig in the sky would be classified as a Wright song.

He is amazing in concert. But if he doesn’t play the classic Floyd tracks this will be an easy ticket. I’m waiting to buy given the ridiculous prices.

Oh that would be GREAT!

Just play early Floyd and solo Gilmour and minimize the "Normie Factor" by steering clear of the tired hits.

Lower ticket prices and less talking over the quiet stuff. Sign me up! :) :guitar :listen

I love Gilmour. I saw him solo for the first time on the about face tour and a few times after that. But the last two times I saw him (Radio city I think) prices were outrageous and the show was boring. I am not paying $$$ to see his daughter sing. This is a hard pass for me. I hope those that go enjoy the shows.
