The woman who sang Between Two Points should maybe also sing Breathe.

That's amazing because they were many times I thought she sounds exactly like a young version of him. She pronounces her words with the same accent and inflection as him. And yes, her voice is gorgeous!

He is amazing in concert. But if he doesn’t play the classic Floyd tracks this will be an easy ticket. I’m waiting to buy given the ridiculous prices.

this is David and Romany about 3 years ago. She's playing harp and providing some very nice harmony vocals.

I never knew about that Von Trapped Series until recently, there are a lot of cool songs from it that he's probably never done before or never recorded, bunch of covers. Here's Dominoes and the whole Von Trapped playlist should be on the side.

His daughter sounds perfect on that song from his new album, which is also a cover from some band that came out in the 90s or something. I think Guy Pratt is the only person I recognize from his past bands. Cool little set there...

edit - I don't know how to do an embedded video and I can't even see the one above my post, it's just blank. I had to click "quote" to be able to get the youtube link then copy and paste it. Haven't figured this one out yet.

he's covered Syd's Dominoes before. In the acoustic show (David Gilmour In Concert) he covers Dominoes and Terrapin.

Keyboardist Greg Phillinganes (the one that asks David the question about his Harmony vocals after Breathe Reprise) has toured with David before. Also i think the one female singer (Louise) has toured with him before. I think both were on the Rattle that Lock tour. I know Greg has toured a lot with Clapton.

Cool... I knew he covered Dominoes but a lot of the others in that series probably not...

I watched the rehearsal video and loved the new song with his daughter Romany. I was also pleased to hear the DSOM songs. Clearly we will be getting some classic Floyd tracks and not just post Waters material. Looking forward to seeing David at MSG this fall. These shows should be awesome.

David Gilmour's first live performance in four years happened in an unexpected place:
He played a Pink Floyd classic alongside daughter Romany Gilmour last night during
an open-mic night at a pub in East Sussex.

Watch footage from their performance of the title track from 1975's Wish You Were Here
inside the Neptune Live Music Bar below.
In a post on X, David Gilmour said he "very much enjoyed crashing" the gig "after finishing tour rehearsals."

i did see a report (but it's so hard to tell these days what is real and what is not on FB) that he said he would likely play WYWH and Comfortably Numb but not Money (which is fine by me).

personally i just want to hear "Coming Back to Life" which is a good possibility since it's a later period song. I'm expecting at least one Syd song. I am also expecting to hear a Richard Wright song. My guess is Remember A Day. He played it after Richard passed away.

I listened to Luck and Strange yesterday. I really love the cover with Romany but the title song (Luck and Strange) is really good as well.

Luck & Strange is a great cut.
It must have been in the can for sometime,
because it's the only song on the record
with Richard Wright on keys.

Dark & Velvet Nights is another great song. :listen
