Peter Frampton

Post by Don McGurrin » Fri Sep 27, 2024 2:59 pm

Any Peter Frampton fans here? I just saw him last week and forgot how good of a guitarist he is. He played and sounded great. He has a muscle disease that effects his arms and hands. Ho said he will keep on playing as long as he can. I will see him again if he comes around.

my older brother turned me on to Frampton's Camel album at a young age.
been a fan ever since though I've only seen him live once about 10 years ago.
the show was great.

a couple friends from work were at the show you were at and both rant and raved about how good he sounded.

Seen him a few times. Humble Pie is an old time favorite of mine but Frampton left before I saw them.

I did see the tour in 76 and admit I had a blast

But then a couple times here in town mostly opening for other bands. Most people know him from the comes alive pop sound but he can dig in and play the blues with the best of them

I've seen him a handful of times & really enjoyed myself ~ his take on Black Hole Sun never fails to amaze. My only gripe with him (and others) is the whole Farewell Tour ~ oops, just kidding, thing. Having said that, I would see him again & I'm sure I'd have a great time. :guitar

He's a positive light on the site formerly known as twitter:
