We also used to trade pm's all the time

I missed him playing in the lyric thread and saw he wasn't online since feb 23rd and wonder where he was

I also keep egging him on to come to RoR4 so we could finally meet in person

I will miss him greatly

((((RIP jbird))))

Thanks for caring enough to ask. Sometimes it's very sudden, and somewhat uncomfortable,
to those in the outer circles, who don't have the info. And can't find the closure they need.
I'm thankful for everyone here, who has participated in my life, even if it was simply a
birthday greeting, or to play in the word game. Thanks for that too.
And let me just add one last thing, cancer sucks. :(
With great sadness I agree!!

Last year, I gave him a ride to a show at the Tower Theater for a Ratdog show. I picked him up at his house down in south Jersey. He didn't have a ticket and didn't care that it was sold out and on a Saturday. Or that he had very little money. He told me that he usually got into shows for free anyway. Before I walked into the theater, I saw that he rolled under the group of trucks parked next to the smoking section and walked inside. We met up and sat next to each other upstairs in the upper balcony. I took him home afterwards and never saw him again. He was a free spirit for sure. A rebel. A real old school 420 loving Deadhead. Fare Thee Well!

Ah the tobacco corporations claim another victim.

This dude was one of the few people I spoke with more than once in the 20 years I went to shows.

Based on this maybe 6 minutes of time we shared I am able to say that it at least appeared he was a compassionate person and was willing to do what he thought was right (at least some of the time) like a real HUMAN BEING.

Sorry to hear he's dead but it's gonna be way easier to sneak in that way and he's prolly cool with it (at least some of the time), lol
