Unfortunately I'm the bearer of bad news.

Rest in peace Shawn, it was fun to know you and share some fun times at shows.

He was a sharp guy.
And he was a good spirit.

I'm very sorry to hear this.

That's a shame.

Shawn was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He had a lot of health problems come his way over the years and it never affected the great attitude he always carried.
Very easy to talk to, and lived his life with what he was given regardless of what was thrown at him. I remember him getting in a severe car wreck on the way to Telluride in what must have been August of '09. He didn't deserve that.
His character shouldn't be forgotten and he made this a better place to exist despite how hard it was for him to live. I hope he is in a better place

From Pennsylvania Obituary:

Mr. Williams was a graduate of McGuffey High School and formerly worked as a pipeliner for Local 798.

He enjoyed music, traveling and photography and was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Blu, whom he loved dearly.

Mr. Williams was Catholic and most recently attended North Buffalo Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are siblings, Davey (Michaela) Williams and Lyndsey Brogley; stepsiblings, Nichole Primavera, Breanne (Jay) Knightly, Chris Allen, Amanda Nichols, Josie Nichols and P.J. Nichols; grandparents, Jane and Dave Williams; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He also leaves his Phishing brothers and sisters.

Deceased are grandparents, Matt and Philomena Onopiuk. Friends will be received Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, May 22nd, with Rev. Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Benaroya Research Institute, Virginia Mason Foundation, 1218 Terry Avenue, P.O. Box 1930, D1-MF Seattle, WA 98111-1930, to support research for Relapsing Polychondritis.
