Wow.....this one really fucking hits hard. Tom was a great guy and a beautiful spirit who loved music and life and seemed to really be embracing what the future held for him as of late. He seemed to be finding direction and growing into himself.

I wish I had seen how deep his demons were hurting him. I was blind to it. The last few times we spent together - Delfest 11, Salmon 11, Delfest 12 and best of all Salmon 12 were just absolutely amazing times. He had gone from being that kid that was always around being fun and goofy to just a great damn friend....somebody I loved spending time with and sharing life with.

RIP buddy....I'm going to miss you more than words can tell. It'll be a long time, if ever, that I put in some bluegrass and don't think of you.
