I believe that's the church Tom's family has gone to for years, but I could be wrong.

You posted on his birthday, Jimmy. He would have been 29....so damn young. Like lots of other folks around here, I miss Tom.

Nobody's spirit I've met has ever been as transparent and pure as Tom's. His passion for music and life was unmatched. This still digs really deep.
We didn't get along very well in the last bit and I never considered what was in his head those days. It's hard to step back sometimes and see through to the good in someone and I regret not being kinder to him towards the end of his time here, not because he's gone necessarily, but because there was a better way to be a friend and I didn't see it.
Don't think he ever said anything bad about me when I wasn't around and I wish I could say the same about myself. In many ways he was the better man. Had some great times with him and met some great people through that.

Rest in peace old friend. You're truly missed.

Connie and i went out to Barnesville PA for Celebration of Life for PA Tom. we couldn't help feeling like we were somehow celebrating both Tom's from .org with some of both their friends in hand.

Not a day goes by I don't think of Tom. He was like my little brother. So very, very sorry I could not be there for him when he needed me most. We discussed his issues to great depth and I beat myself up a lot wondering if I did enough. Very tragic I lost a brother I loved dearly.

RIP Tom you are forever in my heart and thoughts.

I could quote him for hours but it doesn't ease the pain.

Just wanted to check in and say RIP Tom again. I was thinking about him lately. I was listening to a dead n company show last week.... Not sure if anyone else remembers this, but Tom used to LOVE Mayer and like any of us who put together musical "dream teams," Tom ALWAYS used to talk about how awesome it would be to see some kind of Weir/Mayer-based supergroup.

Like most other people, I used to just turn him away and say it was a stupid idea. Now every time I go to a dead n company show, I think about Tom and how much he would have loved to be seeing "this show" or "that show."

Tom used to love going to Camden too. That was his favorite place to see shows. They threw down in Camden last summer and I am sure they will this summer as it is the last show on the east coast.
