she didnt deserve that. she didnt deserve that!

I hope to GOD she died on impact and didnt feel anything. I hope she never awoke from her sleep.. I hope Gig's came to get her a millisecond before it happend. If there is any mercy in this world for such a sweet lady who'd already lost so much.

My prayers for her peace and for her family.

If it's any consolation, there are a few doggies going to the are going to the Ardmore Music Hall tomorrow night to see Catullus. Great Jam Band along with a few others opening for them. Come out and find solace with your Brothers and Sisters...

I know that we are still reeling from this tragic loss, but figured I would share some thoughts about Trina, I mean that's what weir here for as a community, right...

I met Trina about a year ago on here. She won one of my raffles & we got to sending PMs back & forth. I didn't know of her relationship and loss of Gigs at first, but she was still reeling from his death, so being supportive for her about Gigs, her family, etc. was the focus of the PMs, well that and music & shows... :D

I sent her a lot of music and we continued to trade PMs and texts. I sensed that she was better come summertime as she got out for more shows.

Pic from last summer

Image

We would often text each other as we were going to or send a picture from a show that we were at. We both go to a lot of small local shows, her in NJ , NY or PA and me in New England...She loved the New Riders too...

We only got to meet once in person...before, during & after the He who shall not be named show on 11/21 with halfstep and my friend Rick. She was just as pleasant and a sweetheart in person as she was online & via texts, etc. I was happy to meet her and spend some time with her and halfstep at that show...

To know Trina was to love her, she truly was a sweetheart :D and she will be sorely missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her...

May the four winds blow you safely home...my friend...

Solid bones solid

Yea Trina girl was just a solid solid person, were from the same region and I remember Trina when I was first getting into gd , like eight ninth grade. Used to see her around, just always a kind kind head, a great person in this world
God I seen that news on that twenty times that morning, never realized until reading it here it was sweet Trina girl. One less kind sweet head with us and that sucks

I took Trina and a few others to see Bob Weir and his movie that opening day in NYC last year. We had a great time and I know she was happy to be there. She will be missed at all Jersey shore shows and I would like to see some local bands dedicate their next show to her. On Thursday night, Sandy Mack sort of announced it at a gig in Asbury Park. He didn't mention her name because he didn't quite believe what he read on Facebook, but he mentioned the loss of a "jam band scene regular". That's when I put two and two together.

Butchy from Splintered Sunlight is starting a new band and dedicating their first show this afternoon to Trina.

Today I'm excited for the debut of the all new Butchy Sochorow Band this afternoon at John and Peters in New Hope, PA 3-6pm!
Joe D'Angelo on drums, Terry DeAngelo on Keyboards, and Stephen Spatz on bass for some really fun jams!
We're planning on doing some Jerry Garcia Band tunes, some originals and covers! This debut show is dedicated in the memory of our good friend Catrina Jeffers. Come on out to New Hope, stop by and say hi!
Ive got a dream. Its about singing dancing and making people happy. Its the kind of dream that gets better the more people you share it with. I've found a whole bunch of friends who have the same dream. And, well, it kind of makes us like a family.~Kermit
