Damn that's a terrible battle. He's not in pain anymore but that never really helps the people that knew him (it's never really helped me anyway).

Thanks for caring enough to ask. Sometimes it's very sudden, and somewhat uncomfortable,
to those in the outer circles, who don't have the info. And can't find the closure they need.
I'm thankful for everyone here, who has participated in my life, even if it was simply a
birthday greeting, or to play in the word game. Thanks for that too.
And let me just add one last thing, cancer sucks. :(

I truly hope this isn't considered out of line.
I did a search for his obituary.

Jason D. Haley

Jason D. Haley, known as 'Jay Bird', of Hainesport, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his home. He was 42.

A lifelong area resident, Jason was an avid fan of both the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles and traveled many miles following and attending Grateful Dead concerts throughout the country.

He is survived by his parents, Amy LaVecchia and Mike Haley (Cindy); two children, Delaney Haley and Anthony Haley; a brother, Michael Haley (Caroline); a step-sister, Heather McCummings (Greg); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until time of service. Perinchief Chapels Mount Holly

Thank you for posting this. What a tear jerking, sad, read. People always say death gets better in time but for me it just gets more real, more painful, with every passing day.
