The gods who have been appointed to be our companions in the dance,
have given us the pleasurable sense of harmony and rhythm;
and so they stir us to life, and we follow them,
joining together in dances and songs.

RIP. I loved his double bass, and am glad he played with the band again in 2014. What a loss. :cry:

Weir said:

I'm devastated to pass along that Rob Wasserman lost his struggle today, and we have lost a beautiful friend and artist. I can still hear the sound of his bow playing those strings unamplified and pure. It's one of the most glorious sounds I've ever heard, and the music and warmth he gave us will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched.

Wow this is a shock. I did not know he was ill. I hope this is not another drug tragedy.

RIP Rob. Quite a shock. Thank you for the music.

Holy shit damn! :(
Only had the pleasure of seeing Rob live a few times, most recently
with Ratdog at Knoxville in 2014, and it was a pleasure.
Obviously a great friend to Bob and a great loss to our scene
and the world.

But still, holy shit damn. :cry:
