He was one of the guys who dragged Bobby off the stage at the Cap when he fell off his chair with Furthur. Rest in peace bro.

As much as I am saddened, I'm very curious as to how he passed? He seemed to be in good health in Chicago. I can't imagine/certainly hope it wasn't drugs or unnatural in general.

Always a cool guy, who would kindly say hello.
Gazillion times in the taper section always seen him when setting up,
Would oblige the kindness and always sign my book(s).

I can see him running round now through the corridors of my memory at the numerous Ratdog shows at Westbury.
We are all smiling as the lights go down and he has this happy grin going as he leaves the soundboard.

Good Memories, Great Shows, JJ Walker Good Times fer sure.

The Road Goes on Forever...........
Peace be with you in the Promised Land.

Charucki has left the building.

It is with a heavy heart that we've witnessed the passing of our good friend Chris Charucki. I've known and worked with Charucki since the late eighties, going back to the I-Beam nightclub days in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury. Charook or as I called him, Chew-tabaki, was an amazing human who had an incredible wit with a catalog of one-liners that could rival anyone on this planet. He was a rare individual who would make you belly laugh, often while pointing out and ridiculing one of your shortcomings. It was an honor to be made fun of by the mighty Charook. He was the Don Rickles of stage production. I miss him already...

you very well could have been... however, I doubt you were alone with that task. I guess we should've taken it easy because there was supposed to be "NO SMOKING!!"

It's amazing to think about how many crucial people who are behind the scenes who really keep this bus going down the road and how much apart of the family they truly are. I'm sure Bob, as much as you could possibly be, has somewhat come to take death as part of this game. I'm sure it is never easy but I have a feeling he genuinely stays in touch with those who have traveled on. Lets enjoy this while we can because even though it can be long and strange... it's also incredibly short. "were we ever there at all?" RIP man

Really down to earth ball buster with Brooklyn roots. Probably the greatest tribute to how much love and respect he was given was the Chuck Farucki sticker on Bobby's road case right next to sneakyjack's Bobby Solo sticker. Truly saddened by this news. Fly on brother! RIP.
Ps on the sticker thingy
AJ and I added a new to bobbys case while at wang theatre - see if ya see it one day..
