Got saved ' again '

Went on a mission from hell once again..
Picked up and in the matter of less than a month crashed.
Left the job, the gal, the dog, the yard, the house, and most of all..
The self respect.
I think one of my biggest problems is the fact that I get to the point of homelessness and it isnt even a big deal. I ran the streets for too long to have it a big deal. It sounds strange, but livin a normal life is the weird part for me. Kept away from all the shit for almost 2 years. Slacked from my meetins, convinced myself that I could use once. Just once..
Found myself someweir I shouldnt have been, takin things that werent mine.
Was actually usin in the buildin I climbed into..
Its bad enuff to think they are comin with no reason..
But to actually have em there..

How on earth did you almost 2 years of staying away from everything ? Just 6 months ago you posted this.

Didnt even kno they had colors other than silver for years...!
Was introduced to the fellowships over 15 years ago..
Was clean for 14 years till right around my 15th birthday
Have not been sober this long since..
Got a lot of rebuildin to do with this life I choose to lead...
All shits an giggles it has not nor will not be.
Yet, my worse day sober is far betta than my best day usin...!
Moved back up N an have to get connected here now.
Hittin a beginners>speaker discussion meetin tonite.
Jus checkin in..

you left out the right after he said 15th birthday...he was sober the first 14 years of his life ( birth to 14 years old) and then started drinking at age 15...not sure if we are missing something, but maybe you should pm Argus instead....

That may have been what he was getting at. I have never heard anybody saying they were clean up until they started drinking. Some places they will say it is their 3rd birthday when they are sober 3 years. Different area different sayings. Just like the one thread was talking about AWOL. I have no clue as to what that is.

unfortunately, he had more years clean than I did...i started my journey at age 12...

I will try and help you any way I can I have been sober a long time and lost jobs, did not have jobs, I went on welfare at one time. Had a job for 17 year and got injured and unable in a trade that I had for over 30 years and stayed sober through it all.

But if I can't make sense of what you saying I can't help. Trust me you will not get no sympathy from me. That never helped anyone.
