Jacob Trouba will not face supplemental discipline for his hit that left Pittsburgh Penguins star Sindey Crosby injured Wednesday night.

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun reports that the NHL will not hold any hearings on Thursday.

You know sid has a concussion :- his head snaped back

I think we forget this team has overachieved this year and they are young

That said no time like the present to learn how to win in the playoffs

If they make it out of this round I give them very
round
agreed
but it would be a valuable memory to see how to overcome adversity in a playoff round for a bunch of kids whom I thought at the beginning of the year were 2 seasons away from maturing enough to have any chance of even making the tournament without stress

I expected to see scratching and clawing for an 8th seed
we took 2nd in our division  (icelanders got fucked with the schedule of the arena)

if they can get out of Pit - it would be nice for this group to experience a game 7 in MSG
they can learn to use the dragon when its awakened - pretty good last night
but nothing compared to a game 7
nice job facing win or go home and overcoming a 2 goal deficit

they have had such trouble with these older men, I don't see any success going forward
with the men who are in their prime right now - who play at the level that can win

but I like the fact that I'll let them break my heart again - it's been far too long since they have ;-)

Yeah
sid was concussed - no doubt
i don't care - he's always been a dirty guy like Clarke in that he stays outside the scrum
until just about everyone's paired off and then he sucker punches guys who have another
player in their face or he uses his stick - again a pussy move when your opponent is looking
another man eye to eye... he's done that since he entered the league
I thought he dialed it back a little after he got his clock cleaned in the classic
but he is who he is and - there's a reason folks like Ovetchkin, Gretzky, La Rouche
etc. never got their heads handed to them - Ovetvchkin at least sticks his nose in and
will take a shot man to man if you can give it to him - then he'll laugh about it and score

They better be ready at puck drop

A good start will be key on the road

1st goal will be huge

yeah,,, if the blueshirts have to chase it will be a long night (series)

I think Igor needs to pitch a couple of shutouts along the way

Jekyll and Hyde with this team

One minute playing the best hockey of the year

The next the worst

Can't seem to put together a full 60 minute game ](*,) ](*,)

one goal is not going to do it

And putting it all on Igor to win the game is not going to work

brutal

I thought we were going to steal one last night

the goalie did his job - 3rd period was relentless and no response
the ot goal was off Lindgren - can't do anything about that but move on

I'm afraid of the adjustments the 'canes will make
don't know if we have an answer

played well for about 50 minutes
really well the first 40

The Rangers have managed one goal in the first two games, with the lone score coming off a neutral-zone turnover at the 7:07 mark of Game 1.

Give up a short-handed goal game winning goal

The rangers have met their match

Enjoy the last two games of the year

on the flip side
we've only given up 3 ourselves before yesterday afternoon

Igor has only given up the one soft one (yesterday)
the bigger issue for me is:
are they (Igor) mentally tough enough yet to grind out these games to the end
we had a goalie that was lights out with a lead in the 3rd for a long time
Igor has coughed up enough two goal leads this year (including playoffs) to last a lifetime

this series may go the distance
we are smaller and a little slower
but the team defense is still right up there
we aren't giving up very much 5 on 5 but every mistake continues to find its way into the back of the net
