Hey doggies,
So, on my Alvarez acoustic/electric the hexagon nut somehow came loose and when I pulled the amp cord out of the input jack it fell into the body of the guitar.
How can it get hold of the jack and then feed it back in the hole where it goes.
Thanks in advance.
how to get input jack back in place ?

sounds like your gonna have to take the strings off, or loosen them enough to get a hand up in there

why thanks stevus,
sometimes the simplest solution is right in front of your face but you don't see it.
Guess I thought my adult sized arm would not fit into the sound hole enough to reach the input hole at the bottom of the guitar.
But it did.
just had to take the new strings off and put some newer ones on.
(changing stings is not my favorite thing to do)
this is a folk sized Alvarez so the body is not all that big.

if you need to remove strings that you just put on and dont want to waste them - put a capo on the first fret, loosen the strings just a little more than enough to remove the bridge pins and take the strings out from the ball end leaving them wound in the tuners still. after you dig around in there just pop the strings back in and retune.
