In your opinion of course. I find the Q to be the same as I always have. I initially love the power and the quick tempo and then after awhile I find they overplay at times and I just get bored. There is an elegance and subtlety to Dead and Co’s playing that I personally find captivating. I also think JM is a more talented and dynamic guitar player than Warren or Jimmy. Not to mention my favorite musician in the world, Mr. Bob Weir, is at the helm. Ultimately, we should all be happy that every alive member of the Grateful Dead is on the road.

It’s a noodle filled wankfest…same as ever. There’s some good parts, but it’s not particularly engaging at all, as whole shows. I’ve watched both nights and fast forwarded thru lots. Broken Arrow was good….but there’s a lot of it that goes nowhere. Oh, Rob’s voice still sucks, lol.

You’ll note there are no comparisons here. It’s just my hot take on Phil’s music. Glad he’s still out there swinging for the fences though. Nice to hear.

(Haven’t heard 10/13)

Don't get this constant which form of moving forward is best. JG passed and His family carries on making music. Lucky us. I prefer what X is up too but I'll listen to Y anyday of the week as well. X first if both are on the same day. Kind of sucks pitting one against the other. Not how they live, me guesses. I'm sure there have been squables between em over the years. Same as anyone out there dealing with family thru the years. Dead & Co have evolved into one hell of a fine Band. Phil puts together some sweet line ups to explore the Dead songbook. Some stand out collections happen at times. Enjoy. JG put it best when He was attacked by his heart. "Love what you have around you, one day it will be gone. Aaaccck :faint. :!:
Inspiration move me brightly / Light my heart with sense and color /
Hold away despair / More than this I will not ask / Faced with mysteries dark and vast.............

Anyone know where a SBD or Video of any of the Q shows might be found? Doesn't seem like they're available for purchase anywhere.

Agreed, but any form with Trey upsets my stomach a little.
