Ratdog is truly a work in progress. They seem to be getting stronger every time we see them. Last night at Jones Beach turned out to be one of the hottest sets of music we have seen in a looong time. Opening with a superb weather report suite.>let it grow it was obvious this was going to be a special night. The band built into a hypnotic dark star with Kenny brooks and mark and Bobby really playing out. and this was just the start! Other highlights included a d.j. wasserman,layne jam.the wheel with great vocal work.The ending China.Rider was completely over the top! The entire set was one big segue with not a weak moment. The only criticism would be the lack of an encore. the show ended around 11 so there was room for more. I would strongly recommend catching this band right away they are in a great groove.
