Reviews
Great show. Jannus Landing was a packed house that was really into the music tonight, and the band delivered. Three Dylan songs tonight--Queen Jane, Masters of War (played really dark) and Memphis Blues. The second half of the second set was mostly Terrapin. Mark, Jeff, and Kenny tore up At a Siding > Terrapin Flyer. Great and powerful 'Stuff.' Too many other highlights to try to list. Sweet Ripple to send us home. Let there be songs to fill the air indeed.

This was my first Ratdog show and certainly won't be my last. The last time I saw Bobby was 1993 at Giants Stadium and he hasn't missed a beat. The venue is great--only about 1800 people. The first set had a very jazzy feel to it. Shakedown was a great way to kick it off. The second set really brought me back... Terrepin was stellar. Ending with Ripple, I wished that they could have played all night. Already looking forward to next year!

When I arrived the venue was packed. You could feel the good vibes
among the audience even before show time. Ratdog started jamming and from the first few moments I could tell that Friday's bash was going to be a blast. Bobby caught everyone's attention and the interplay between the band and audience built with every jam. Ratdog was on a level above previous Jannus appearances. When set one ended with "Deal" I wondered if set two could keep the momentum going. The break ended and the band started to burn. The playing was superb. Never a dull moment.... Three revitalized Dylan tunes, classic standards like China Cat Sunflower and I know you Rider--Ratdog stood and delivered. There was magic in the air!

And I thought RATDOG's show last Nov at Jannus Landing was Fantastic!! Well, The show last Friday, Nov. 17, was even better!! A total raucous/funky/space jam!! The first set rocked from Shakedown Street through an awesome Hell in a Bucket to Deal. I didn't think the 2nd set could possibly be as good, but it was even better!! Great Me and My Uncle through Terrapin, Black Peter, and an unbelievable China Cat/Know You Rider!! Nice encore with Ripple to bring the mind back to Earth!! Epic show! Next tour through FL I will make all their shows! They are that good!!
