a sad loss for music
vibes for family and friends
he will be missed
Two windmills are standing on a wind farm. One asks, ‘What’s your favorite kind of music?’

The other replies, ‘I’m a big metal fan.

Ouch. What a hit this morning. How can this be? It doesn't make sense. It's not right.

Strings of light and gentle flow
Acoustic rhythm sung with a bow,
He’s left his mark in our sacred heart
And now he travels home.
Layin down the soothing sounds
Enveloped by light and love
Forever be there by your side
His strings heard high above
He walked the Dog from town to town
Merry music all around
Jammed with the greats and brought us home
Forever free where you may roam
Lost to life, but free in death
We pray and lay you down to rest
Becoming more it’s plain to see
That I am you and you are me
Rejoice in days filled full of light
And beckon wings to take their flight
For every day turns dawn to night
And we will keep rolling on.

"Let The Bells Ring"

C'mon, kind Sir, let's walk outside
And breathe the autumn air
See the many that have lived and died
See the unending golden stair
See all of us that have come behind
Clutching at your hem
All the way from Arkansas
To your sweet and last amen

Let the bells ring
He is the real thing
Let the bells ring
He is the real, real thing

Take this deafening thunder down
Take this bread and take this wine
Your passing is not what we mourn
But the world you left behind
Well, do not breathe, nor make a sound
And behold your mighty work
That towers over the uncaring ground
Of a lesser, darker world

Let the bells ring
He is the real thing
Let the bells ring
He is the real, real thing

There are those of us not fit to tie
The laces of your shoes
Must remain behind to testify
Through an elementary blues
So, let's walk outside, the hour is late
Through your crumbs and scattered shells
Where the awed and the mediocre wait
Barely fit to ring the bells

Let the bells ring
He is the real thing
Let the bells ring
He is the real, real thing

Peace...it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work, it means to be in the midst of those things and still be Calm in your Heart.

When it rains it pours.

Vibes to his family and friends.

I only caught him a few times but enjoyed them all.

We lost one of the greats.

His St. Stephen bass solos during the RD shows in the wake of JG's passing were very poignant passages of music that really fit the moment.

RIP Rob Wasserman.
