Rangers defeat Hurricanes in Game 6, push series to limit
Shesterkin makes 37 saves, has two assists for New York; Raanta pulled for Carolina

Shesterkin became the fifth goalie in NHL playoff history with two assists in a game and the first since Pekka Rinne, who did it for the Nashville Predators against the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 2 of the 2017 Western Conference First Round. He has three assists in the playoffs, the most in a postseason since Rinne had that many in 2017. Martin Brodeur holds the NHL record with four in the 2012 playoffs for the New Jersey Devils

Gaudreau says he'd like to remain with Flames, win Stanley Cup in Calgary
Forward can become unrestricted free agent July 13, was tied for second in NHL with 115 points

Hurricanes, Rangers to play Game 7 for trip to Eastern Conference Final
Carolina 6-0 in its history, 3-0 at home; New York 10-6, 2-5 on road

Tanev could be out for start of season for Flames after shoulder surgery
Defenseman expected to need 4-6 months to recover, had career-high 28 points this season

Would love to go to the game tomorrow, but $400 for a pair just to get in the building is too rich for me. Not that I’d mind paying that for a decent seat, but that’s last row in the 300s. Guess everything is $ now a days

Spezza retires after 19 seasons in NHL, joins Maple Leafs front office
Forward will be special assistant to GM Dubas, says not winning Stanley Cup will drive him in new role

Hurricanes, Rangers each bring confidence, promising history into Game 7
Have 'recipe for success,' but anything can happen in finale of Eastern Second Round

Hagel expected to play for Lightning in Game 1 of Eastern Final
Forward misses third straight practice, should be available for opener against Rangers or Hurricanes

Just found a pair of 100 level section for a total of $425 $25 more than I was willing to pay, but for a game 7 figured mine as well. Never been to a game 7 anything. Psyched

That’s what I’ve heard as well. My first game at the arena, so interested to see how it compares with the madness that is a Buffalo Bills game. Selfishly I want Carolina to win so I can try and catch a game vs Tampa. Otherwise I’d want the Rangers. Just hope it’s a close game.

Carolina was straight garbage and their 2nd string goalie (and then 3rd) are not good. It will be interesting to see how the Rangers fair against Vasilevskiy. Igor was straight fire last night. Vegas has Tampa as -185 favs to win the series. If the series were starting in Tampa perhaps. Starting in NY, Tampa will be fortunate to get 1 of the two. Rangers are riding high, tampa has to be rusty in game one. Can’t wait for tomorrow

Going to be tough for the rangers to bring the same mojo as game 7

1st game after a game 7 historically does not go well for the winning team

We shall see

No more 2nd and 3rd string goalies they now have to beat the best goalie in the world 4 times in 7 games

This will not be easy
