Best game so far for Shesterkin?

The breadman and Vesey questionable @ Devils

Artemi Panarin and Jimmy Vesey missed practice Wednesday and are day-to-day with lower-body injuries, but Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette didn’t provide much clarity about their statuses for Thursday’s game against the Devils.

New York recalled forward Brennan Othmann from Hartford of the American Hockey League on Thursday in case either Panarin or Vesey is unable to play. Othmann has 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists) in 44 AHL games; he made his NHL debut Jan. 4 and has no points in three games with the Rangers this season.

I hope this team is not peaking to early :-

Never the less 9 in a row is very good :clap :clap

The Rangers' winning streak is tied for the third-longest in their history. Their longest is 10 games, which they have accomplished twice (1972-73, 1939-40). ... Panarin had his 22nd three-assist game with the Rangers, passing Mark Messier for the fourth-most in franchise history. ... New Jersey is 2-for-46 on the power play (4.3 percent) in its past 14 games.

Next 3

3-24 @philly
3-26 @ Blue jackets
3-28 Blue jackets

On paper they should win all 3 :-
"Never fuck with a winning streak "

There was no indication from the NHL that Rangers rookie Matt Rempe will face supplemental discipline after getting ejected in the opening minutes of Thursday’s win over the Devils.

The 6-foot-8 winger was assessed a match penalty for a hit to the head on Devils forward Nathan Bastian 2:25 into the Rangers’ 5-1 victory in Newark, but the league did not even announce that Rempe will be subjected to a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety.

:shrug That is a tough :shrug call

They are going to have change the rules for these giants in the league :popcorn

Going on a Rempage!! :rofl

Ok the kid can throw down with the best today :-

I wish he would show more than fighting :-

He is going to have to pitch in point wise especially come playoff time?

Small sample size :shrug

He got one being in the right place last night :clap

Still don't know if this kid has what it takes to be an everyday player

But he has the team jacked :shrug ride the wave

Rempage!!

:rofl :rofl :rofl

just WTF did this guy do in the minors or in Juniors????
to get challenged EVERY night upon his arrival to the show :shrug

small sample size
but
he goes to the front of the net - and he can be an eclipse by himself
can't tell yet if he has any hands (other than being willing to let them go)

gotta be disciplined too - if he wants to be on the tournament team - sometimes you have to
wait and pick the better spot - true right of the bat doesn't usually effect the game other than
jacking up your own bench - << all of a sudden Goodrow is choosing to be more physical too :-

<< and I thought Culley was the answer to my toughness dreams

not a great game in Toronto

2 goals weren't Igor's fault
Marner is a beast coming off the wall to the net :clap

you don't win them all - and they kept Matthews off the sheet - impressive in its own small way

agreed

the road to the finals will be thru the Panthers while having to dispatch either the Boonz or the 'Leafs as well along the way - better keep working to get "7" at home if needed :-

need to find a player for Kreids/Mikah to play with... Vatrano again :shrug ?
(at least the last time with him we went deep into the tournament - sample size is small but the eyeball test says it worked then.... what about now?)

I say keep the twin towers and find a Forward for the top line - Leave Panarin, Trocheck and Laffy alone

Seattle Kraken forward Alex Wennberg was held out of the team's morning skate and won't play Monday against the Calgary Flames due to "trade-related" issues, head coach Dave Hakstol announced.

TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnston reports the move is precautionary as the Kraken work their trade options. He adds the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche are among the teams who have shown interest.

Wennberg?

Really? - the price was right - I don't worry about draft picks other than 1st rounders
In any given year are no there more than 30 or so players which every team knows about
and it would be obvious the kid could step in and play? =; - draft picks are always crapshoots

Another center whose played a decade and is still caught more often than not on the wrong
side of the puck??? ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

It's not as if this guy is pouring in 20-25 per himself =;
his career best is 17 ](*,) ](*,) - I guess he peaked in the pandemic season

ummm.. Mr Drury -- sir; we still need a Right Wing for Mikah and Chris :-
